Classic Caprese Salad

Ingredients
  

  • 2 whole large Jersey tomatoes
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • 12 quarter-inch thick slices of fresh buffalo mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp freshly ground pepper

Instructions
 

  • To prepare, core and slice tomatoes. Alternate tomato and mozzarella slices. Drizzle with olive oil. 
  • Tear the basil leaves and sprinkle over the salad. Dust with pepper and enjoy.
