Roasted Garlic Tomato Soup

Gather these ingredients

whole peeled tomatoes
canned
12
cloves
roasted garlic

cup
cream
Salt and pepper to taste

olive oil

basil leaves
Instructions
Heat oil in a soup pot. Add garlic and sweat for 2 minutes.
Add the tomatoes and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the cream and basil and purée with an immersion blender. Reduce heat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
