Oyster Dressing

Oyster Dressing
Ingredients
- 2 pt oysters
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 stalks of celery, diced
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh sage
- 2 tsp chopped fresh thyme
- 3 clove garlic, minced
- 1 loaf day-old ciabatta bread cut into cubes
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup clam juice
- salt and pepper
- 1 stick butter
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a skillet. Sweat onions, celery, and garlic until soft.
- Add herbs and oysters. Let cool slightly.
- Fold in bread and clam juice and mix well.
- Beat the eggs and add to the mix.
- Bake in a greased casserole dish at 350° for 25 minutes.
